At KYGN we have a mission to provide quality education at Tumaini Foundation, our primary school, so all of our students can achieve the classificatory grade to pursue further education in a public school. The first group of children who started receiving education at KYGN just concluded primary school in 2019 and all of our 29 students achieved the grades to classify for public schools!

The bigger challenge, however, is the fact that secondary schools in the rural area of Mabogini, where most of our students live, have a poor quality. In view of this situation and to actually make a meaningful change in these kids’ lives, we created this program to sponsor their secondary education at a school in Moshi Town, where better education can be found.
