Transformational Tourism

We Value Cross-Cultural Experiences And We Are Proud of The Work Developed Here At KYGN.

For this reason, we welcome tourists to visit us and contribute, while also getting educated about our culture, environment and people.  At KYGN, visitors are allowed to get involved with limited activities, such as:

DRAWING EDUCATION MATERIAL

PAINTING FACILITIES

PROVIDING/SHARING AN EXPERTISE THEY HAVE

Prioritizing Children’s Necessities

By limiting the activities that visitors are allowed to get involved, we prioritize children’s necessities by avoiding negative impacts of short-term interactions. By providing a rewarding experience to tourists and spreading to the world the work we do, the project is also benefited and, as a consequence, the children served by KYGN.

Cost to Support and Cover Expenses

The visitation helps supporting the project with the cost of USD 25, covering expenses with transport from Moshi to Tumaini Foundation (KYGN’s primary school located at Mabogini, approximately 40 minutes away from Moshi), hot lunch, local fruits and bottled water.
